One Love is a tribute show dedicated to Bob Marley and Fleetwood Mac, which will be held at the John Elliott Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. hosted by Twende Afrika Rebelljo.
Proceeds from the show will go towards the Tanga Sober House in Tanzania, Africa.
In December, Joseph Rebello and Linda Haffey will embark on a mission to Africa spreading the word about addiction awareness and harm reduction.
Tanzania was chosen as the country of choice as Rebello was born, raised and started his music career, and feels the need to help, after encountering and conquering his own experiences. The necessary help in knowledge, materials and other necessities of which will be requested and assessed from the home is very much appreciated through your attendance at the show, said Rebello.
“I am very excited about reuniting and performing with my fellow musicians back home, together with Canadian musicians who will help and join me on my quest to support addiction awareness,” said Rebello.
